How does spinal decompression work?

Spinal decompression applies gentle stretching to the spine via controlled manipulation that creates a vaccum in the spaces between the discs of the patients spine, allowing the body to naturally heal conditions such as herniated discs and sciatica.

Is spinal decompression effective?

Spinal Decompression Therapy not only significantly reduces back pain in many patients, but also enables the majority of patients to return to more active lifestyles. In the past, a patient suffering from disc problems was usually given pain medications, instructed to refrain from physical activities, referred for physical therapy, and when they weren’t progressing they were sent for spinal surgery. With Spinal Decompression Therapy, patients finally have a non-surgical solution to their back pain due to disc injuries.

Is spinal decompression painful?

No. Typically patients experience little to no discomfort during spinal decompression therapy, and often compare the experience to a good stretch.

What is Supartz Therapy?

Supartz Therapy is the injection of a purified solution of sodium hyaluronate directly into the affected joint. Because sodium hyaluronate is a natural substance found in the body’s cartilage, this allows increases lubrication in the knee—which, in turn, relieves the pain.

How does Class IV Laser Therapy work?

When the laser hits the tissue, this causes a chain of events that lead to the production of adenosine tri-phosphate, which the cells use for energy. This, in turn, stimulates the injured cells in order to enhance healing, improve nerve function, increase vascular activity, reduce pain and reduce inflammation.

What determines the outcome of my stem cell and PRP therapy?
Various factors determine the outcome including the extent of damage, disease and the location being treated.
We do not like to treat more than 2 areas at a time as the effectiveness can be decreased. Treating more than 1 area at a time is determined on a case-by-case basis.
How much downtime should I expect after stem cell therapy or PRP therapy?
Typically, there is no little to no downtime from cellular therapy.
How long does the repair process take?
Generally, the repair process takes two to three months to complete, but in most cases improvement can be noticed before then.
